Negosyante ng Bayan (NnB) is the loan program of NRBSL catering to the community entrepreneurs who are ready and ripe to become full-time entrepreneurs with a clearer growth and expansion path. NnB, which comes in two stages (NnB1 and NnB2), addresses the development financing needs of the enterprising poor whose enterprise has continued to grow so that their break from poverty has become more pronounced and sustained. To be an NnB client signals one's emerging victory over poverty: transcending livelihood-for-subsistence activities.

NnB Stage 1 clients can borrow starting from P30,000 up to less than P200,000. NnB Stage 2 clients can borrow from P200,000 up to a one million pesos. Advanced NnBs assisted and nurtured by NRBSL have become major builders of their respective local economies. They have spin-off businesses set-up outside their households, have middle class lifestyles and significantly contribute to the communities where they operate. NnBs, as envisioned by NRBSL, become initiators of development of local economies through employment creation, economic value adding through linkage and network with other enterprises along their business lines, tax revenues and business fees paid to local and national government and models for start-up microenterprises struggling to break away from the circle of poverty.
